Dominique Gomez

Dominique Gomez is a singer-songwriter, instrumentalist and music teacher based in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles. Before graduating from San Francisco State with a BA in Communications and minor in Music, Dominique spent the entirety of her childhood and adolescence studying the voice, performing in various musical theater productions, bands, singing competitions and worked towards developing her craft in songwriting through piano and guitar. Now, Dominique has had the joy of working with students in voice, piano, guitar and songwriting since 2020. Outside of her teaching career, Dominique works as a topline writer for various electronic and R&B/hip-hop producers, writes and records for sync and music libraries and leads a cosmic country band.
Craig Jacobs

Craig Jacobs is drummer, guitarist and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, he began playing drums at the age of 10. With over 18 years of experience in music and as a graduate of San Francisco State University, Craig has toured across the world and recorded with musical artists in jazz, rock, indie, and more. When he’s not on the road, Craig teaches drums and guitar while also fueling his own musical project, Baybs. With over five years of teaching experience, Craig continues to ardently study and evolve his knowledge of music while passing along his skills, technique and expertise onto each of his students.Â
JayCee Porter

JayCee Porter is an LA native and multi-instrumentalist with a degree in Musical Theatre from California State University, Northridge. Though her childhood background centered on television acting, in high school she developed a love of singing and stage performance. Once graduating college, JayCee started playing with various local bands, playing percussion and doing vocals. During the pandemic, she discovered her love of drumming and has now added guitar to her arsenal. Since 2022, she has toured the US, Europe, and Australia. These days, JayCee is working on building a musical project of her own, Honeydew. She is so excited to join the Blackbird team because she knows that a passionate teacher can make all the difference!
Glenn Brigman

Glenn Brigman is a Southern California based multi-instrumentalist. He was born in Atlanta, GA and began studying music at a young age. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, he moved to Los Angeles where he has been playing with a number of rock bands over the past decade, touring across the USA and Europe. He has produced records for artists such as Levitation Room, Dominique and the Diamonds and his own group Triptides to name a few. Whether you’re picking up the guitar, bass or keys, Glenn is ready to provide excellent instruction and help you start your musical journey. Rock on!
